Abstract

Se realiza un análisis histórico de la neurocirugía con una visión más integradora, a partir de la evolución epistemológica y el paradigma vigente. Se justifican las limitaciones del determinismo en la práctica neuroquirúrgica. Se aborda la necesidad de un abordaje multicausal en esta disciplina, así como la adopción de estilos de trabajo transdisciplinares y cambios en el sistema de formación profesional.
