Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene el objetivo de analizar las condicionantes sociales y el impacto social del servicio de oxigenación hiperbárica del Estado Barinas, en Venezuela. Para ello se analizaron dos dimensiones: la utilidad potencial del servicio y el análisis de los efectos en la población. El impacto social que ha tenido en el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de los pacientes atendidos, la calidad del servicio permite orientar estrategias dirigidas al mantenimiento de esta modalidad de la atención de la salud.
